Where? Spotland & Falinge Community Centre, Spotland Road, Spotland, Rochdale
When? Starts Monday 4th February 2008
How long? 2 weeks, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm
Age Range? 19 years and over
Group Size? 10-15 people
Whats Involved?
Week 1. A varied and interesting programme that includes such things as Ice breaking sessions; communication and teamwork activities. a 1 day food hygiene course, leading to a nationally recognised qualification; healthy eating on a budget; community engagement.
Week 2. Enhancing your employment skills through things like ; Updating and presenting your CV; job search techniques; letter writing styles; the importance of communication skills and body language; interview preperation; mock interviews.
Note: This course if open to residents of Rochdale and Middleton. Benefits are not affected. Local travel expenses paid (upto £20 per week).
